Trainova (“we”, “us”) operates trainova.ai and the Trainovaplatform. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and the rights you have under the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA).
What we collect
We collect the data you give us when you ask to start a trial:
- Your full name
- Your work email address
- Your organisation name
- Your role and the plan you’re interested in
- Any free-text message you choose to share
Submissions are processed by Formspree, Inc. (United States) acting as our data processor. Formspree stores the message and forwards a copy to our team inbox. We do not sell or trade this data and we do not use it for marketing without a separate opt-in.
Cookies and analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate and does not set tracking cookies or build a profile of you. Your theme preference (light or dark) is stored in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
Why we process it
Our lawful basis is your consent (when you submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. We process the data solely to contact you about your trial, schedule a call, and provide the service you asked for.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t turn into accounts are deleted within twelve months. Trial and customer records are retained for the life of the account plus seven years afterwards to meet tax and accounting requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is inaccurate
- Delete your data (right to erasure)
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict our processing
- Withdraw consent without affecting prior processing
